Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quizley ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Quizley is an AI-powered study platform that transforms uploaded content (documents, audio, video, and URLs) into structured notes, flashcards, quizzes, and audio podcasts. The Service is provided on a freemium basis with optional paid subscriptions.

User Accounts

You must create an account to use Quizley. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use
  • Use the Service to generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the system

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Quizley. By uploading content, you grant Quizley a limited license to process and transform that content for the purpose of generating study materials. The AI-generated study materials are provided for your personal educational use.

Subscriptions and Payments

Quizley offers a free tier and paid Pro subscriptions. Pro subscriptions are billed at $2.50/week or $104/year (20% annual discount). All payments are processed through Stripe. Pro subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period.

Limitation of Liability

Quizley is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated study materials are intended as learning aids and should not be relied upon as the sole source of academic information. Quizley is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to academic outcomes.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove your data from our systems. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
